I have a AMX PLB-AS8 8X8 Audio Matrix Switcher that has 8 inputs and 8 outputs.

I planned on using 4 of the inputs for stereo sources, but I wanted to use the remaining 4 inputs for 8 mono sources.

Does anyone with Experience in this switcher know if I can use the remaining 4 stereo inputs on the AMX AS8 and convert each one of them to 2 mono inputs each instead of the 1 stereo input?

Thanks.

PS: Are there any AMX programmers on this forum?

Yes, there is at least one AMX Programmer in this forum.......

Left Inputs = 17-32
Right Inputs = 33-48

So with an AS-8 to switch Mono Input 5 Left to Stereo output 1 you would use

Send_Command dvAs8,"'AI21O1'" (Input 21 to Output 1)

Yahoo groups has a couple of AMX Forums... AMXHelp and crestronamxprogrammersclub

Neither gets a lot of traffic, but there are a few of us there on a regular basis.

Great information. Thanks. I heard that it was possible but many have told me not with this switcher.

Do you program small resi AMX/netlinx system in NJ?

Thanks,
