I have wanted a few things for the last few years.

Digital camera with ultra wide angle lens. I have a photographer for my projects but always wanted something for simple projects and before shots. Not to mention shots of the kid.

New TV. We watcha circa 2003 Hitachi Plasma 42". I need to step up to a 55".

NAS for media and or general file storage and backup.

I actually don't need any new tools but those dang tool bags you guys keep posting have my interest.

What's the diff between that and the 885 I have from the kit? It's become my daily use impact. The drill is OK. I still like my 36v Bosch better. :P

That 55ET5 on Amazon for $899 Black Friday seems pretty good as far as deals go.

If you're holding out for a VT plasma you'll be disappointed by the LED. I still think the VT plasma is the best picture out there. We installed a 55 WT50 last week which is their IPS panel (after my arm being twisted for weeks) and while it looks bitchin' on the wall the pic quality just still doesn't compare. About the same price as the 55 VT plasma too.

We have the Bosch cordless and the Harbor freight corded and the harbor freight $30 tool gets used 90% of the time. ACtually can't remember the last time we used the cordless bosch.

I agree the VT panasonic is best picture, but I think the Samsung 6500 plasma is best picture for the dollar.

Adding one to my account.

Jonathan, it doesn't look like that unit comes with HDD.  It's just the NAS.  Still, considering that I paid roughly $250 for my Netgear Stora (no longer made) with a 750GB HDD, and a 2nd bay for an additional, I'd say $149 is a fair price.

I really like my Stora, it's easy to manage, I can access it from anywhere, including my iphone, I can set permissions for my guys to access without being able to access certain areas.

I wouldn't be surprised if this NAS has a very similar GUI and design.  Reading the description, it sounds exactly like my Stora, except the name.

Lastly, I've been saying how nice the picture is on the Panny's.  I've gotta admit, in the last few months, I've not been terribly impressed by the picture.  Seems awfully "grainy" to me.  Samsung is getting my TV money from now on.

I've also noticed that they don't work great with Baluns, and I've got a customer with a Panny that he's had for a month or so, HDMI 1 and 4 no longer work.

its brushless, so its much more efficient. Also it has 25% more torque IIRC. the thing is amazing, was playing with a contractors and made my trusty makita that i love so much look like a POS :)
