What are you looking to do?

Do you plan on capturing video, editing the content, then adding menus, transitions, titles, then burning to DVD?

If so, I've using Pinnacle studio deluxe with great results.

If you're just looking for DVD burning software, Nero makes great software.

I just want to take one movie or tv series dvd and burn it to another while retaining the menu stuff and doing it semi-quickly.

I have heard about software that will further compress dual layer discs to fit on the current single layer media, what software is best for this and what hardware is the kind that can handle a lot of use?
