I have a bose stereo that uses a rf remote, and want to use a pronto pro with system, any ideas would be great.

Sure, I have a great idea. Sell the Bose system at eBay and buy something that works better. Pronto Pro is a good choice for controlling your new system.

If you search this site you will find the answer find the answer to most questions. It depends on the Bose system. LS28/35 can convert to IR control, no other hardware is needed. Earlier LS systems go here--[Link: bluedo.com] and check sytem compatability. Selling the Bose as mentioned previously is not a bad idea. Any $800+ HTIB system will kick its ass and have more expansion capability.
