I was just wondering if any of you have interfaced with a large Lightolier system before. I am using all AMX , but the freaking thing uses PLC as well as 30 Baud rate for transmission...Yep I said 30! Hell I can push my car faster than that! I am just assuming that when I execute a command string I am going to have to shoot the lightolier command a like 5 minutes before I execute the rest...hmmm maybe a timer string!

Does the system have any firewalls installed????
I can't remember off hand but I'm almost positive that the firewalls have rs-232 ports for control.
No you don't have to have a timer sting. Press the button and it will change. There is almost no delay. I'm sure your customer will never notice it.
