Went to job site this morning and when I opened URC Total Control program it notified me about an update. Started update thinking that it would only take a minute or two.

It has now taken over ten minutes and it is only half done. The files it is downloading are labeled "iPad" and "iPhone". It looks like URC is finally getting iPad and iPhone remote with the MRX-10.

Can't wait for the update to finish downloading so I can check it out.

Does it work? This is the CCP version or total control. The Total control we knew about.

There was a CCP update last night and there was a mention of Ipad/iPhone. Have no idea though.

He is talking about Total Control. The app has been working since late June.

Downloaded this new CCP update and now my MX-6000 is having all sorts of problems. Customer called me back after I left and said that when trying to punch in channels numbers for DirecTV a screen comes up and says "fatal error" and says program has crashed and call system programmer.

Called universal remote and they said that this is an issue with the new update and they are working on a fix. Said that fix would be in update as soon as they figure it out. Now I have to tell me customer, a bar in DC, that the remote is not working and they can't use the remote to change channels and they have to change channels by hand up in the office.

My suggestions is not to do this update until this problem is fixed.

It seems that URC was able to come up with a quick fix for the problems that I was having. Before leaving I saw that a CCP update was available so I gave it a shot.

MX-6000 now does not crash when punching in channel numbers for DirecTV.

Wish it hadn't happened but good work URC for fixing this problem ASAP.
