Customer wants a motorized drop down ceiling mount for a 40" LCD. It is for an outdoor porch location. He does not want it to mount flush in the ceiling. When in the down position, It will be dead center of ceiling and porch. He then wants it to motor up and out of the way. Also wants it to be able to swivel when In the down position 360 degrees.

Can't find it. Anybody ever needed this before?

Auton has them. I think they are meant to flush in the ceiling though.

I don't know if it'll swivel, but you can thank Tweeterguy for this one.

Activated Designs has one too and I think they have a swivel option.

I don't see a published phone # for Activated Design anywhere on their web site. Have you ued them recently?

Also, their ceiling mount seems to be discontinued. I'm looking for a small motorized ceiling mount (40-42" TV) for a travel home. Entire assembly must not be deeper than 6.5" (including TV).

Anyone else have any suggestions?

People of Flava assembly might work, but they are in Sweeden, which makes me a little bit nervous (price, support and warranty)
Chasing Ernie's post count, one useless post at a time.

I just spoke with Activated Designs last week.  Try 661-320-4004... it's the direct line for Art the owner, but may get picked up but might get picked up by the front desk if he's out or on another call.
