Yes, it's very easy. You'll need the new Hunter Douglas PowerRise 2 system and a Hunter Douglas Platinum RF adapter. You'll also need a Control4 wireless outlet switch.

Works great.

Thanks a lot. We are trying to do same and magnolia charging huge for the drivers, so a schematic would be hugely appreciated with some detail, or video>
Thanks

How does the wireless outlet switch figure into the scenario?

The Platinum RF adapter is a little device you plug into an outlet.  When the outlet is switched on... the shade goes down, when the outlet is switched off... the shade goes up (I might have that backwards).

The wireless outlet gives you an easy way to control power to the RF adapter.

This solution only give you open & closed for the shades, no preset positions.

Hmm. Funky.

Control4 recently did a nice update allowing for status feedback on the state of a shades "openess" on it's GUI, as well as the ability to set a shade to a specific percentage.

This shade would obviously NOT provide this kind of feedback. Icky.

There is a driver for the Hunter Douglas Platinum Gateway in the Control4 Online Database. It is a cloud driver that the blinds bind to.

The Control4 controller can connect to the gateway via IP, and the gateway communicates with the blinds via RF. If the blinds are out of range from the gateway, there is an available repeater.

As long as the blind motors are compatible with the the Platinum Gateway, you are good to know. There is no need for a Wireless Outlet Switch.
If it's not simple, it's not sufficiently advanced.

Good info thanks

So sounds like you could get two way feedback with this since IP?

I'd suggest you try making a post in the new comers thread to prove you aren't a troll

In the Online Database from Composer, select "Hunter Douglas" as Manufacturer.

Then select the "HunterDouglas Platinum" driver.
