Ok, here's the deal:

Multisat Directv install
Lots of trees
Can get SatA in location a, but not sats B&C
Can get Sats B&C in location b, but not sat A

Is it conceivable that I could use two dishes, one multiswitch?

Anyone ever done this?

This would be the common way that DTV and Dish systems are installed here, due to our location we typically use 4ft or 6ft Channel Master dish units and tie these together using the multiswitch.

let me kow if you need more details

You can use different round dishes, one aimed at each sat, combined at the multiswitch.

I chased my tail and those satellites at a customer's house for four years, working around his mature trees. Every April he would call with "sat out" problems. Trees grow and every year I would have to move the dish to a new hole through the limbs. Finally, this April, I gave up. The customer has HD cable and I have two HD satellite receiver that I decided to refund to him rather than dance around some more. Just a word of warning on working through the gaps in the trees.
Carpe diem!

The solution would be: A single DSS dish for sat A. Then a multi-satdish for your b and c sats. send two RG-6 drops from the multi sat and two RG-6 drops from the single sat to a 4/4 or 5/8 switch. Make sure the single dish's cables go to the A sat inputs. that will fix your issues.. til the trees grow. Good luck. kirk
