I have tried the Aquos discrete codes listed in previous threads and the only ones that work on the new 30 & 32" models are the PC, ON, and OFF. Any ideas?
Thank you!

I'm in the same boat as you. I have tried all the postings here on my Sharp 37" LC-37G4U, and the power on/off discetes work, but none of the inputs except Input 5 (PC Direct).
I've tried MakeHex and IRDB, but I admit I don't know what the heck I'm doing there...
Does anybody have discrete inputs working for Input 1 - 4 on this TV?
Thanks in advance,
// Dean

I just got the LC-37G4U and tried out the input 2 code on my pronto (I don't have a input 1). I didn't work but thanks for the code. Id love to have inputs 1-4 since I only have input 5 for this TV. Thanks for any future help.

In my search to find discretes for the lc37hvu, I found that one of the sharp projector discrete input commands listed on this site worked...

I beleive that would be input 3. It's from the descrete projector listing. I just programmed A MX800 (Universal Remote Control)that has All the inputs in their software database. Except input 3. Run a search for Sharp LCD and you'll come across the codes. Good luck.

Hello - just found this thread through google. I am actually a harmony remote user, i am not really concerned as I have a LC-37G4U set and REALLY need discreet codes for the inputs. Changing to a DVD/mp3 player or anything is an absolute chore with this set right now! Aside from being very slow to change inputs, the lack of discreets just won't work - and my receiver can't do component level switching.
has there been any progress on this, or verified that sharp just didn't create any? anything I can do to help? is RS232 my only way out?
Thanks!
Curt
