How do you turn the following in to good old IR binary?

D5H =RGB

C6H =DVI

BFH= Component

5AH =Video

D8H =S-Video

76H =4:3

77H =16:9

AFH=Zoom

RTI... I'm ashamed of you.......... I though a regular would never commit such a thing...

One... There is not nearly enough info there to Create any sort of Pronto Hex code.

Two, You didnt post what model it was for.

Going by my handy dandy LG/Zenith Cross reference, the only LG 40 that supports those particular discretes is the 40PA15 (PA10 only supports On.Off discrete)(My list is a few months old too, so if its newer... wel..........)

The 40PA15 crosses over to the Zenith P40Z24.

The Pronto P40Z24 CCF with Discretes is in your mailbox.

I kind of thought I would catch flak over this. I am much better at RS-232 commands

I know that D5 converts to 11010101 and I know that can extrapolated down into a longer string, but I am not sure what to do with the H, maybe that just stands for HEX?

Thanks for your help!
