Samsung has sent me the discrete codes for a LCD TV (403T) but I need them in IR format. Here they are:
Pins : 2=RX, 3=TX & 5=GND
AA 11 0A 01 01 1D // Power ON
AA 11 0A 01 00 1C // Power OFF
AA 14 0A 01 01 20 // Input Video 1
AA 14 0A 01 02 21 // Input Video 2
AA 14 0A 01 08 27 // Input Component
AA 14 0A 01 11 30 // Input RGB 1
AA 14 0A 01 12 31 // Input RGB 2
AA 14 0A 01 13 32 // Input RGB 3
AA 3D 0A 01 00 48 // Executes Auto Image
How do I make these IR commands i can use with a Pronto?

These are serial strings, & have nothing to do with IR.

You can try Celadon [Link: celadon.com]They will sell you a converter and program it for you or you can try Xantech and program theirs yourself. I haven't tried the Xantech but the Celadon is plug and play.

I don't know what the Celadon solution costs but you might be able to do this with IRman ($35) and free software (e.g. IR Assistant).

Xantech's IRS232 works very well. http://www.xantech.comYou will need to get their remote to program your remote with the trigger codes. Or here [Link: remotecentral.com]if you have a Pronto-type remote.
