I have been told and verifired that a regular spacer system dimmer will accept and respond to IR codes from a lutron IR codes My question is... How do you program the thing for the different scences? The Luton manual does does not say. It is obvious they want you to purchase the 5 scene master control but I don't see why it is really necessary.

Thanks..

I have the codes... What I don't knpw how to do is to "set" the scene or lighting level on the spacer that will correspond to each code.

1) Set light levels at dimmer.

2) Press and hold the remote control scene button until the LED on the dimmer flashes.

3) Repeat for each scene.

Pg 138 of the Lutron Residential Lighting Control Catalog.

I don't know, I think the SPS only can respond to codes 1-5, but the codes are on Lutron's website, so you could give it a try!

The Spacer System (Note SYSTEM) Dimmers will respond to Scenes 1-4 only(5 is actually OFF). These are the models with the Clear back.

To set the scene, Set light level on Dimmer(s) and Press and HOLD the Scene # for about 3-4 Seconds.

What about the all on command? I don't know that you'd want to hit that frequently, but the SPS-5WC and SPS-5WCR have an all on button. I don't have that code though in my Pronto and can't find it here. I suppose I can grab the emitter signal out of the SPS-5WCR I have that's given when I press the all on button and have the Pronto learn it. Does anyone have a code for that?
