I think it's pretty definitive as to who the company is that the line was given to. Just have to figure out what new lines they recently got.

Wait a few weeks and check Google Maps Street View.

There's no loyalty in the market. One of the distributors i work with was selling URC, I finally made the decision to buy from them, a few thousand dollar order, three weeks later they lost the line. More than anything it made an rma very difficult when I had a bad mx5000. The next week they were calling me about how wonderful RTI is.

It's all a bunch of BS, the only loyalty is what can be sold that day.

Incidentally, every time I was in the "pair of dimes" booth at Cedia I had a bad feeling from those guys. No offense to any neighbors to the north on here, and i really loved the time i spent in toronto, but freaking canadians.

Were the reps Canadian??

Every time I have been in a Paradigm booth an American rep has given me the tour.

No the manufacturer is, I just like to blame Canada for everything, they never get
In trouble for anything and
Always seem so
Nice, so I find myself
Saying freaking Canadians a lot.

However as much as I find myself hating the heat of the summer, I'd consider moving there.

Daniel isn't Canadian; he's multi-national.
He's ascended from nationality and is a world spanning entity :-)

Blaming Canada eh?

I get the feeling dealers are readily replaceable in most markets. Reps have no loyalty to particular stores, they'll just go wherever they can get the fattest commission. I've had reps try to manipulate me so that my competitors can do business better because their relationship with them is a decade plus longer than our relationship. F that. It sucks to fall victim to it, but there's always other brands to switch to. Some products are better than others, but it shouldn't be too hard to roll with the punches.

As for the inventory, that sucks royally...but it should help to steal sales away from the competitor if you flood it out at cheap pricing - your clients don't have to know you lost the brand, just whore it out into the market and cause the other guy (and the vendor) some trouble.

What?

Playing the guessing game. If you guess wrong he has to sit here and say no that's not it. If you guess right you put him in a difficult situation. I don't think his intention was for you guys to guess, it was to get advice on what to do.

I can't say I blame them, I dont like most people from
Baltimore, I never said I hate Canadians, I just like to put the worlds problems on canada, mainly because of all countries, they have the least to do with controversy than any.

More than anyhing it's a joke.
