Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum. I just started working with a home automation company and need some help finding appropriate speakers for a Home Theater.

I need to find Left, Center and Right speakers, which must be slim (2" depth), so probably wall-mountable. Also, I need to find 2 rear, surface-mount speakers that would work well with them, which can be hung from the ceiling. These need to be as small as possible without sacrificing too much sound.

The total budget for the 5 speakers is $1500.

We will be using a Denon AVR-2112CI AV receiver and an active sub-woofer.

Thanks so much for your ideas/insights!

Episode ES-300-OWLCR-Medium or Large for the front channels, do in-ceiling for the surround channels.

The XTR series? I was looking into the Mythos XTR-40, but I'm concerned about the lack of low frequency response (100Hz – 30kHz).

Which models have you used?

***UPDATE***
I have looked into these brands and others, and have found a number of potential models. Some models don't seem to have a great low frequency response (Episode ES300, Def Tech) or are just so thin that I can't imagine they would have enough bass to be front speakers (Magnepan MMG)

Thanks for all the help and the suggestions!

Def Tech - XTR-40. these are supposed to sound amazing, but may be out of budget. Looking into sourcing. Also concerned about bass response (100Hz-30kHz).

KEF - T101 would be perfect, but I'm I don't think they would be powerful enough. The T301 adds in another mid-range driver and is just as thin. Does anybody have any first-hand experience with these?

Episode - ES300 may be just a tad too think (2.8"), and also don't seem to have a great low frequency response: 115Hz-20kHz.

Here are other models I have found that look promising on paper.
Does anybody have any first hand experience with these?

Fineline LCR-11/21 - Both 1.75" deep and seem to offer good frequency response despite their small size (80-20k). Very interested in hearing opinions on this one.

Goldenear SuperSat50 - Goes down to 60Hz, but at 2.5", it may be a tad too thick. Looks great on paper, anyone heard these?

Magnepan - MMG series. Planar speaker, so I'm concerned about the bass.

How does the bass sound?

The T301 speakers add on an extra driver and are just as thin, so they are on the top of my list. Do you have any experience with these?

Thanks!

Have you considered contacting a local CI who can more appropriately answer these questions and analyze your specific needs? It is what we get paid for and there are a number of qualified individuals in your area. I think you may be surprised what a good relationship with a local CI can provide you.

Can't use flush mounts unfortunately, they must be standing or on-wall and be less than 2" thick.

You will need to use a subwoofer properly crossed over for all of thosespeakers. I do see we are pressing the budget but do it right - once.

We have relationships with a number of local CI, but they either direct us to their brands, which don't quite fit the criteria, or are more audiophile focused and are not interested in projects at this budget. We have been trying to form a good relationship with a CI for some time, and if you happen to know of anyone in the NYC area I would be very grateful for their contact information.

Thanks
