I am currently using the Xantech 590-10 with the connecting block and thier IR emmitters to contol all my equiptment with Macros.

I just purchased a Samsung VCR and it needs the record button to be held for about 1/2 second to 1 second.

Currently in DD4 software I cannot find a way to make a command send longer / more sends. I did try putting a couple record commands after eachother but had no luck (it has too long of a delay between sending command).

Is there a way for me to edit the Palette or the IR code to send longer? Or get rid of the delay between sends.

I had a Celedon Pic-200, and I was able to put the sends to 8 and it would send out 8 quick IR commands and it would record.

If you have any ideas or need more info please let me know ASAP, my poor vcr is just sitting there not recording when it should :(

Do you have access to a Xantech 590-00? I have found they are very good at turning a group of succesive commands into a long string. Alternatively,
if you have the command in Pronto format, you can modify the Pronto hex to emulate a longer command, and then import it to Xantech's Dragon software. There is a very good description of the workings of Pronto hex, and the ways in which it can be modified here on this site.
