Obviously, I'm assuming that when you say source control, you're talkin about the listening source at each booth. It would have to be designed in a way that each booth with the backs of each booth going up to ceiling level, with appropriate sound dampeninig, and in an array as to not block the view, it could work. Wireless, not a good idea!! how bout a xantech "waterpad" keypad (totally beerproof). With zpr68 and an 9 zone expansion module you could have 15 separate zones (tables), max volume control, and 6 sources easy. just add 12 channel amp (mono) shouldnt be a problem), and your done!

Another solution:
I did a sports bar with 2 proj, 25 27", and 3 rear proj. during football all games are shown, and at the door your told what tv's are showing what game, and all the big screens have sound 4 that section. if u r an out of towner you cant hear your game but u can at least see it on a 27". if u dont like it go back to N.Y. and watch the Jets lose at home.

Don't mean to sound negative. But expect problems with that configuration. A company called "Sportsound" makes some small rechargeable speakers that are designed to sit at an individual table, you can tune in a modulated RF channel on the unit. Even in this scenario, maintenance is ongoing, and it's really not worth the headache. In a sports bar, the most important requirement is comprehensive programming, and of course the ability to please as many of the parons as possible. In a main event situation, the most important thing is that everyone has a good view of a monitor, and that the intelligibility of the audio system allows people to hear the event. It's very difficult to provide discrete audio and video to individual patrons. Video, nop problem, but audio presents some issues

Oh, and by the way, if you decide to venture on with this idea, make sure it's bullet proof. Who knows, some real thought and cash thrown at it, maybe it could be alright. But if you have ever had to do a service call on a busy Friday night in a crowded sports bar or even worse a night club, you will definitely want to avoid it.
