I have been wondering what are some of the pay scales for a cedia certified installer. I and two other installers in my shop are cedia cert. We tend to think our pay is low and was wondering what other certified installer are bringing in.

CEDIA will not disucss this topic during organized meetings for fear of legal action; restraint of trade, I believe. They don't want employers discussing pay in any organized fashion in order to supress the working guy with an organized effort at keeping pay down.
The government may be watching, but the lawyers certainly are.....
If you think your pay is low, call around to other shops and see if they are hiring. If so, at what pay level. Pay is highly dependent on location, skill set, past job experience and the present demand for skilled labor.
