Does this mean you could add a 4 or 8 port switch to it to essentially turn it into an Airport extreme?

I think the new format sucks without the built in power prongs. A separate power cord sucks in a lot of instances. It was a nice all in one format before. Now you need a desk or something to lay it on in an office. Wtf. Racks eveen worse. They were great in a rack plugged into power strips to use as AirPlay streamers to inputs on multizone distributed audio switchers and tucked away nicely. Now I will have to use a dedicated shelf or something to mount these in the rack.

And the best thing for me is that it has analog audio output so you can use it to stream via airplay for an audio only source!
Who says you can't put 61" plasmas up on cantilever mounts using toggle bolts? <---Thanks Ernie ;)

We only use Apple TV......with all of Apple's updates, and not to have a check box for auto updating, the airports were causing too many service calls for my liking.

It's exactly the same size as an appleTV only white. I wonder if we can find a rackmount for a couple of these and an appletv, they're 3.9" so you could fit 4 units all next to each other.
