Hello everyone,
My installer is going to use a 20' DVI cable to connect my PC in the study to the TV in the family room. Please advise will the image quality be distorted or degraded due to the length of the DVI cable. He is not sure whether my concern is valid until we tried it out but I would like to find out before custom order that 20' DVI cable.
Thanks,
Al

I don't recall the specifications for DVI, but have used many 20 to 40 foot DVI cables for home entertainment systems without any problems (except the joy of retrofitting!). These were from sources other than a computer, although this should not make a difference.
Go order the cable, you should be fine.
