OK, I've looked. What is the color code for these arrows to the left of each thread? I can't wait for the first wise a-- to tell me I stupidly overlooked the obvious. Fire away!

looks to me like anything over 15 replies goes red and over 50 goes yellow
just an educated guess though

It has to do with number of posts. Blue -> red-> orange -> on fire (going from yellow to red over and over again)
