URC-2P drag n drop has a couple buttons that I havent figured out. In the command window you can select Tier 1 and Tier 2, but what are the Shift Cursor 1 and 2 (or whatever they say) down there?
There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.

As you probably know, any button on the remote can be programmed for two different functions. Tier 1 refers to the first command and tier 2 refers to the second. Pushing the button normally sends out the tier 1 command, whereas holding the button down for one second
or more sends out the tier 2 command.

With the shift curser featue, you can assign a button to change the entire "curser" group of buttons to tier 2 commands or sequences. You can program a second button to return the cuser buttons back to their tier 1 functions. This is ideal when you want to use the buttons for transport fuctions as well as cursers.
As an example, the "channel up" button can be programmed to change the cusers to Tier 2 commands, with the "Channel down" button programmed to shift the cursers back to Tier 1 commands. Buttons in the curser group of buttons cannot be used as the shifts.

This feature can only be taught to the remote using the DD4 and not with direct remote to remote programming.

I hope I have helped.
