Tivo ir codes not working with Xantech injectors

Any one notice that tivo ir woun't work with xantech cable injectors... They work with hard wire systems but not with the injectors. Lucky so far... I had cat5 in the homes I needed to work with. But oneday I know I'll have to find a fix to this problem.

Worked great for me w/ original remotes just last week, not to mention I had three injectors running one emitter! How many recievers/injectors do you have in the system?

I did have a similar problem with the injectors. we were using optilink power supplies. Once we changed them out to
Xantec no problem. Hope this helps.

Yeah. Xantech stuff wants to see 12 volts with very little ripple. They used to do this by providing a 9 volt unregulated supply that usually sat at about 12.5 volts. Those were a predictable service call, and they have replaced them with a 12 volt regulated supply. If you use someone else's supply, you may have problems. If it is 12 volts unregulated, you WILL have problems.
