Again thanks and I will try and be more mindful in my post moving forward.

No worries Anthony...just busting your balls a little bit; you know, since implementing HDMI in any manner other than source direct to sink does indeed involve quite a bit of luck :-)

I've had nothing but problems with the wyrestorm units. Just my experience.

What problem have you encountered with these unit?
Were you terminated with proper BNC connectors?  There are differents between 50 ohms connectors for serveillance cameras and 75 ohms broadcast type BNC...

I just finished a job with six Coaxial units and two dual Cat5e units with ir on both types headed by 408 matrix switch without a hickup.  However, I am open for a phone call from the client.

We're going to be building them eventually, but right now we just have other things in the hopper that have priority.

What are you using for your switching when you have issues with the Apple tv? Is it the 1st Gen (appleTV1) or 2nd or 3rd (black box). If you are using the White Apple TV1, I have seen issue when trying to force 1080p out of the unit. Change the resolution to 1080i if it is a Gen 1 AppleTV. This is not only with the 1 Coax but also Matrix switches and AVRs. I have never had an issue yet using the 2nd Gen and 3rd Gen Black Apple TVs. They work great. Just installed the 3rd Gen in a retro install using the 1-Coax extender to the 3rd floor TV about 206ft away going through the B-300-HDMATRIX-4x4 and it works flawless.

Give us a call if you are still having issue. 704.909.5876

We bought 4 units for a retro in a home, all good RG6 lines, terminated with ICM 75 ohm BNC connectors, just could not get the 2 boxes 2 sync. Out of the 4 pairs, we had 1 working pair, and that unit worked everywhere, but we couldn't get the other 3 to work. I do know they were in the middle of a management shift when we were doing this, and tech support was not very helpful, as they were not completely familiar with the product.

At the time we swapped them out with a Zuum model our distributor carried, but it is no longer in production.

Postrin,
Did you test the othe 3 pairs on the same TV location that you had 1 pair works.  I'm suspisous there are splitter/diplexer installed somewhere in the middle of the run.

Another thing to check is the Female-to-Female F connectors, these connector tend to reduce the bandwith from transmitter point to receiving point.

Absolutely, we even checked them with a 6 ft piece of RG6, our disty even checked them and they couldn't get them to sync up. I assume this was just a lot problem, and I would think it's been resolved, but we have a bad taste for them, and I won't use them again. The box is also freakin huge.

On a side note: Is there a reason everybody hasn't bailed from HDMI baluns in favor of HDBaseT?
