I have nothing but great things to say about Snaps (binary) HDMI over coax. It just works, And its installed with less then ideal conditions. It also has an HDMI switcher at the head end too.
Works fantastic, knock on wood not a call back yet. Picture is as clear as if the cable box being 4ft below it. Distance of around 220ft, RG6 Quad Shield and also feeding IR to the location.
The only thing is, im not sure if its Comcast or the adapter but in fast motion scenes like baseball or football the motion seems to be pixelated. Apparently, to the customer this is normal and he sees absolutely no difference so i take it its crapcast.

I'm a huge fan of AA, as many may know already, and use your stuff as much as possible. Just a suggestion...don't say good luck when referencing anything related to hdmi :-)

+1 Snap. We've installed 4 or 5 and have had zero issues. No EQ dial to worry about or EDID learning. Plug and play.
Distances range from 100 to 350 or so feet. If we run the coax, we are using solid copper center conductor per Snap tech department, but we've successfully used both solid and clad wire.

+1 for the SnapAV piece.... Theater was prewired with 4 coax (RG6) to a proj. location. Worked great.

the current chipsets that are being used by the majority of the manufactures at this time are not so hot(720P and 1080P only, no audio, no control, 50ft min coax run), but a updated chipset should be out soon, if not already out. The new chipsets are supposed to fix the issues I have seen plus add additional resolution support, audio and I believe will add control. One manufacture I work with says before CEDIA 2012

Only ever used the SnapAV piece once to replace a single-cat5 Atlona unit (the series before they came out with HDBaseT units). Passed 1080p/60 from FiOS (receiver upconverting) and 1080p/24 from Sony Blu-ray without a problem (on a 60' run).

@tweeterguy
Thanks for the suggestion. I have gotten into the habit of just putting that at the end of all of my post and can certainly see were that could be construed as a back handed remark towards HDMI (not my intention).
Again thanks and I will try and be more mindful in my post moving forward.
