Anyone run into an issue here? The Logitech Gods must hate me.

I have a client with a new Onkyo TXNR609, DirecTV box (HR22ish), LG bluray, older dvd-r/vhs combo....and the Revue.

The Onkyo upconverts/switches DTV, BD, and VHS to HDMI individually just fine, but will not send video for the satt if the Revue is ran in line (which I believe is the only was to set it up)

I thought I would ask the smart guys before I started calling/emailing the Mfgrs for finger pointing.

Thanks,
Tom

I can't necessarily answer your question, but I will let you know that the Revue does not have to have a STB going through it. Of course this limits the ability for the Revue to control the satellite receiver and use all of it's TV functionality, but if you just want the Revue as a browser and streaming device, it works great. It just becomes another source into the AVR.

I can name that tune in one word.

Onkyo.

As I've stated many, many times before.  The 08, and 09 units have severe HDMI issues.  If 100% certain that you have everything connected correctly, then I'm 100% certain that it's the Onkyo.

The only thing you can do, is to check that the HDMI settinig is set to "through".

If it is, tell the customer to get a Denon, or send the Onkyo in for service.

Allegedly, Onkyo has seen the error of their ways, and has corrected the issue with the new models.  I don't have the balls to find out.

Just in case you'd like to read my rant.

HDMI keys on the DTV box?

For a while, possibly still, the FIOS box didn't have enough keys to let you use the revue. It only had enough to go from STB -> AVR -> Display.

And that is the story of how I got a free revue because I have cable......

Hasbeen, I know you and Onkyo had a rough breakup ;) I dont think its the receiver though. All the other video switching works, sounds good, zone 2 is cool...I will check the HDMI settings again. Thanks!
