hello,

i recently purchased an MX-880 remote control along with the RF antenna but the A/V guy who claimed to have the software and was going to program the remote for me will not call me back or return messages.

can anyone recommend someone local in the Los Angeles area?

thanks.

There are plenty of guys that can program the remote and send it back to you.

probably anyone on this forum. I'd do it for you if you want, the shipping may be easier for someone closer to you though. PM me if you cant find anyone else.

I'm in the Los Angeles area. You've got mail.

I don't recommend sending the remote to someone to program away from your system, because
**your set of components will work more rapidly if the commands to turn them on and select inputs are done in a particular order, with delays worked out to be as short as possible, and this can only be done in front of your system

**It's important to watch you use the programmed remote and add pointers or perhaps discuss setting things up a bit differently
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.
