Hi.
I have an Elan S6 (and a ton of other Elan gear). I want to add an Pronto RFX9600 extender to the system. How can I splice in the IR output from the extender to S6? The S6 manual seems to imply it is the Brown and Orange wires of the RJ45 connection but this just doesn't seem to work.

Any help you can give me would really be appreciated!!!

Hal

From memory,

pin 2 white/blue = ir
pin 7 brown = ground

Good luck,
Joe

Elan doesn't use the 568 A or B standards. Pairs stay together. Starting with blue solid.

Blue, orange, green, brown.

So, you are saying to splice blue and white/blue together with the + output and
Brown and brown/white together for Ground?
