I have a client that watches a lot of old b&w films, and he's experiencing a green shift in his grey scale. I've already locked the compensator, and it's still very apparent.
My first call to tech support offered that the 503cmx is the same as the 1000 and it's code will get me in. Wrong!

My second call to tech support confirmed that the first support specialist was incorrect. This one said that there is no ir code for getting into service mode. I must use rs232 codes.

I don't buy it. Why would their industrial model (503) have ir access, but their elite consumer model reqires rs232 for access? That just seems backwards to me.

Anyone know the answer to this? I will have to buy their overpriced service manual if not.

Thanks

Sorry for the delay. If you still need this post back. It looks like you need about 5 pages. I could scan and e-mail them. I will be back in town Monday.

Yes please! It's not that I'm a cheapskate, well maybe I am hehe, but I will probably never need a Pioneer Pro1000 service manual ever again and if you wouldn't mind, it would be much appreciated!

Thanks in advance!
