The set up menu has a feature which asks if there is a subwoofer or not, It is one item of 10, others are, do you use optical, etc.

I had a problem with my subwoofer and I had to turn off the subwoofer option, so the system could work. In this meantime, the RC broke and the sub was fixed. So I want to configurate the subwoofer back.

You can do that at the front of the receiver. You do not have to have the remote control for that.

I post this message a long time ago, and I still have pra oblem with that. It is not possible to do the set up in the front panel of the receiver. I do need the IR code for the set up. Please, if someone has the remote, I will buy it, or ust put on the net the IR code, so I can transfer to my Phillips Pronto

There is a COmplete Atkis remote file in the Pronto Files section. It has Every Denon IR Command in it as of the 02 series. Menu commands will be there for your 1601.

Look under Denon AVR-4802 or Atkis Remote.
