If you use the KEFs keep in mind if you reverse the power leads the speaker becomes non-motorized. Also, the speakers used to be sold in master and slave configurations. Only get masters. They are loud when they operate. Did I mention they don't sound too good? I used them on two installs and called it a day. They are unique though and the installation nightmare was contributed to by a mediocre installer.
Charge plenty of labor.

I almost forgot. On the second install I had this installer put in five of the KEFs and he blew out four of them but eventually after six visits(at least) we present the system to the customer as complete. He liked the system but felt the speakers were too noisy in their ascending and descending operations and decided to have us disable the motors and leave them up.
