I have been trying over forty code sets from the Yamaha ccf UDB and all of the 41 have On and Off labelled, but of the ten or so that work at all, they are just toggle anyway. One submission here was very complete, but only Digital series.

Anyone have something from the analog sets with discreet on/off?

I have had this problem as well on my personal 43 at home..It is an HDTV ready 2001 model..I have a chad remote..The discretes here on remote central work great on our 65 in the showroom, and on other jobs..But will not do squat at home on my 43 Table Top..I have not had time to do all the resarch but any ideas would be appreciated..

I just spoke with tech support at Hitachi, and the guy actually went and searched and called and,(despite his best efforts-muchly appreciated!), came up without much hope. He could not be sure but thought the sets didn't even have internal capability for separate on/off.

We must turn to Charlie Brown to express the fullness of the situation - Rats!

Thanks for the reply

Hitachi supplies Remote Central directly with CCF files. I believe that discrete code functionality was only added in the 2001/2002 model year, and even then only higher HDTV models had full discretes.

If your model was released before the fall of 2001 (ie. is a 2000/2001), then you're one year too early. If it's more recent and the posted codes won't work, then your model doesn't support them.

Thanks, I can consider it a done deal. Good to hear Hitachi is providing codes now. If only the whole world....

I'll just stick a logic switch in the code and a sensor on the flasher. Appreciate the replies.
