Not just heard, but offered support.

I call BS on this. I can almost guarantee you that Nancy Pelosi bleeds blue when cut. I actually would like to see it happen just to prove my thought. lol I've also heard that when Sarah Palin pees people put it in bottles and sell it as Alaska Tea.

I read the article a couple of days ago.

non- Christian Arabs

Don't get your panties in a wad, more power to you for supporting a xenophobe and a bigot and his supposed right to discriminate in his business.

non-christian arabs are a race? so non-christian arabs and christian arabs are two different races? yikes!

you called me a bigot, then call me a racist supporter and then question my panties wadding? wtf did you think i would do? i have clearly stated i am not a racist or a bigot!!!! you are confusing my support for his right to do what he is doing with my support for him and his beliefs. you are to nearsighted to realize this. there are MANY things i dont believe in but dont care if you do!

i also stated that i was not versed in the constitution and what it allows business owners to do.

Read Title II of the Civil Rights Act, which covers much more than Fed/State institutions and interstate commerce. However, since he engages in training necessary for State licensing there may be issues with that too, even though he's not a proxy of the State.

It is not clear that he is a private club, that is assumed.

I did read Title II before making my post. I still do not see how he is in direct violation the the Civil Rights Act. I see nothing there that demands he teach a class to anyone who applies for the class. He has not stated that he refuses to sell "merchandise" and even then Title II states that food and fuel are directly covered, as not to starve or strand an interstate traveller. The unknown is whether or not the training range is private property and requires membership, as most do. I still think he is an assclown but I am trying to understand your argument of violation of the CRA. It seems to be a stretch to say that he has broken the law in this case. He has broken his reputation for certain. He has violated my morals and ethics, as well as many others here, but I don't see the actual section of Title II that he has violated, based on what we know. Would you mind expanding on your argument?

Private clubs are allowed to do stuff alot different then publicly accessible places. Look at Augusta National and the houpla from them not allowing women as members.

I fought for this country and as much as I hate the bigotry spewed by this cesspool of a person, he still has the right to say what he wants. Just like those lunatics with Westboro Church have the right to say what they want. I will say this though that if I ever run into this guy or any of those Westboro idiots I will be getting arrested for assault with intent to due bodily injury!!

Unbeleivable. Let's take some of this to the logical conclusion

Should the boy scouts allow girls?
Should the girls scouts allow boys?

Should the holy name society(men's club at church) allow women?
Should the woman guild (womans club at church)allow men?

Holy crap I wish some of you would get off your High horses an have common sense!

Until America becomes a fascist state(almost there already) people have the choice to run their business any way they want as stupidly as they want! The problem with America is it has become so politically correct all common sense is lost! Idiots!!!!
Ed will be known as the Tiger Woods of the integration business, followed closely with the renaming of his company to "Hotties A/V". The tag line will be "We like big racks and tight holes"...

You seem to be confused. I did not make that elaboration. But continue to parse the specifics, because it's pretty funny.

You have stated you are not a bigot, yes. But in your initial post you chose to antagonize anybody who took issue with this xenophobic bigot as 'getting their panties into a wad.' In a thread titled 'OT: this is pretty funny.'

What is funny? This guy and his immensely backwards stance (and likely illegal) that clearly states discrimination against others on basis of their political affiliations, race, or religion? Or, people who are offended by his actions (not just opinions or thoughts)?

Which is it?

Because racists typically riducule others with childish antagonism, focusing in on their offense of racism with such trite terms as 'getting their panties in a wad.' It goes hand in hand (or foot in mouth) with 'people who cry racism are the real racists.'

But hey, maybe you should cut me some slack. Though you chose to antagonize on those terms and in the title of the thead, and give 'more power to him' in committing discrimination, you're not a bigot. My bad. Surely you can understand why I made that mistake.

I'm struck by the irony in your post. Not only do you confuse the right to be a racist with the (imagined) right to be a racist in practice, you are diametrically opposed to 'PC' (no doubt furthering our slide into fascism) yet supportive of a racist conducting a business that practices discrimination as a business policy.

Freedom to discriminate!

I don't follow your logic.

you didnt make the elaboration? huh? my post that you replied to said race was never mentioned, your reply was non christian arabs!!! that is an elaboration!

antagonize anybody who took issue? what? thats antagonizing?

yes i thought it was funny that this idiot is causing a stir! who gives a shit what this billy ass red does? why is he getting air time? if he wants to do it, let him, he wont be there long!! he is not hurting anybody but himself! thats a fact!

now its likely illegal, a few posts back you were a little more certain!

A bigot is a prejudiced person who is intolerant of any opinions differing from their own or intolerant of people of different political views, ethnicity, race, class, religion, profession, sexuality or gender.

THAT WOULD BE YOU!!!!!! LOL, you are calling me a bigot when you are the definition.

Ehat do you think that suggests? I get the feeling that this was a small town local commercial (don't know for sure). I wonder if the fact that others allowed this to be heard suggests that many Others in this community have similar beliefs.

To be clear, what is the term for some who Discriminates against other religious and political views. I use racists as sort of a blanketed term that maybe isnt accurate.

I think it's pretty clear it's not a private club. He's advertising on radio, for all day classes that cost $100, not memberships.

TITLE II--INJUNCTIVE RELIEF AGAINST DISCRIMINATION IN PLACES OF PUBLIC ACCOMMODATION
SEC. 201. (a) All persons shall be entitled to the full and equal enjoyment of the goods, services, facilities, and privileges, advantages, and accommodations of
any place of public accommodation, as defined in this section, without discrimination or segregation on the ground of race, color, religion, or national origin.

(b) Each of the following establishments which serves the public is a place of public accommodation within the meaning of this title if its operations affect commerce, or if discrimination or segregation by it is supported by State action:

(1) any inn, hotel, motel, or other establishment which provides lodging to transient guests, other than an establishment located within a building which contains not more than five rooms for rent or hire and which is actually occupied by the proprietor of such establishment as his residence;

(2) any restaurant, cafeteria, lunchroom, lunch counter, soda fountain, or other facility principally engaged in selling food for consumption on the premises, including, but not limited to, any such facility located on the

premises of any retail establishment; or any gasoline station;

(3) any motion picture house, theater, concert hall, sports arena, stadium or other place of exhibition or entertainment; and

(4) any establishment (A)(i) which is physically located within the premises of any establishment otherwise covered by this subsection, or (ii) within the premises of which is physically located any such covered establishment, and (B) which holds itself out as serving patrons of such covered establishment.

(c) The operations of an establishment affect commerce within the meaning of this title if (1) it is one of the establishments described in paragraph (1) of subsection (b); (2) in the case of an establishment described in paragraph (2) of subsection (b), it serves or offers to serve interstate travelers or a substantial portion of the food which it serves, or gasoline or other products which it sells, has moved in commerce; (3) in the case of an establishment described in paragraph (3) of subsection (b), it customarily presents films, performances, athletic teams, exhibitions, or other sources of entertainment which move in commerce; and (4) in the case of an establishment described in paragraph (4) of subsection (b), it is physically located within the premises of, or there is physically located within its premises, an establishment the operations of which affect commerce within the meaning of this subsection. For purposes of this section, "commerce" means travel, trade, traffic, commerce, transportation, or communication among the several States, or between the District of Columbia and any State, or between any foreign country or any territory or possession and any State or the District of Columbia, or between points in the same State but through any other State or the District of Columbia or a foreign country.

(d) Discrimination or segregation by an establishment is supported by State action within the meaning of this title if such discrimination or segregation (1) is carried on under color of any law, statute, ordinance, or regulation; or (2) is carried on under color of any custom or usage required or enforced by officials of the State or political subdivision thereof; or (3) is required by action of the State or political subdivision thereof.

(e) The provisions of this title shall not apply to a private club or other establishment not in fact open to the public, except to the extent that the facilities of such establishment are made available to the customers or patrons of an establishment within the scope of subsection (b).

This clearly looks to me as if dude is in violation of the CRA. Expect any litigation on the matter to focus in these parts bolded above.

I don't suppose it would be worth the time to explain to you what bigotry actually means. Please elaborate.
