I am upgrading a conference room to allow multi-media presentations, DVD/VCR watching, etc. I have the following items I am trying to use..
Output Devices Pair of Altec Lansing speakers with separate amplifier – 1/8” Soundboard connector Infocus 530 – SVIDEO, VGA, RCA Video inputs
VCR (Svide & RCA VIDEO and RCA Audio) Computer (VGA Video and standard Soundboard Audio Out) XBOX (RCA Video Out, RCA Audio Out)
I want to be able to toggle between these 3 input devices to share the outputs (projector and audio). The projector let’s you specify which input it should use which may handle the video component since if I can seperate the three devices on 3 different inputs but the audio part has me a little confused. What device can I use which will allow me to use the VCR (RCA), Computer (Soundboard) and XBOX (RCA) and run them all in to a amplified pair of computer speakers? This set-up may sound a little heinous but we are doing it on a budget and the speakers for the money actually sound pretty good..
Any thoughts? Thanks..

Several manufactuerers make 1/8" Stereo to RCA Adaptors. There's nothing magical about an audio card output. Just R & L Audio on a compact connector.
