Here's what I'm looking for.

A little unit to distribute composite video to 2 maybe 3 video locations. Easy?

I want to be able to feed it 12v or whatever from a remote location, and stuff this unit in the wall behind a keypad or VIA! Etc.

I've seen a little thing like this before. Where??? I don't know. Maybe ASV knows.

I don't need audio ... only video.

Why does it ned to be mounted inside the wall? Especially behind a Via (Which is much more than one gang by the way... THis box would easily fit through a Via opening.)

Oh it will fit behind a ViIA! for sure; however, the customer wants video in another location or two, and in this instance it would be far easier to split he video behind the wall where it is behind a Z pad.

A long short story. We can do it the long .. Long route, or split, an amp and go.

We have scads of room in the wall, and extra wire too.

Cable Electronics has a Small 1x3 Video Distribution amplifier. Not sure if it is low voltage powered or not though. It is small and unexpensive

If you have a Cat 5 to the keypad locations with a spare twisted pair unused you can use a video balun. Cheap, no power, and it can be split several ways without any active electronics.
