I had to replace an integra that the HDMI stopped outputting to the projector. I didnt do the original install but Im guessing the HDMI was 45 feet long. I called Integra, and they said they dont support any lengths over 10 feet or some crap. I was stunned. I ended up replacing it with a newer Onkyo and its been fine. I still have the old integra in my basement for further testing with a shorter line.

Same here. At one point with the .1 series, we were at about a 50% fail rate. They gave us the same nonsense about not supporting longer HDMI, but even at 3 foot HDMI they weren't working. Send them in, week later unit back with new HDMI board. Never had the same unit fail twice interestingly enough.
It is a pain shipping it back though as they are heavy and expensive to ship.

I have never had an Integra Receiver have HDMI problems. I did have some of the .2 AVRs with the faulty ribbon cable that kills IR control.
Onkyo TXNR509 and 609 have had issues with HDMI, all of them wouldn't work out of the box.

Not specifically Integras...But I'm done using Onkyo's because of the issue. You can check out my thread "Goodbye Onkyo" that should give you an indication.

I wonder if some of the HDMI issues are source, cable and display related too. Seems like some people have all kinds of problems, and others have no problems.
We are currently using Samsung, Cisco, SA, DirecTV and Dish boxes, Sony and Integra BD's, XBoxes, PS3's, Apple TV's and Mac Minis as our video sources. We use Ethereal or Vanco Baluns and Capital or Proflex HDMI's depending on the budget. We also use JVC, BenQ and Sony Projectors, and Sony and LG displays.
Never had and HDMI issue with an Integra...they are one of the most rock solid brands we carry!!!

I don't get how it is that ANY manufacturer thinks that their product is right for custom installation when they severely limit the distance between the AVR and the display. Of course, HDMI started out as six feet long, nothing more nohow and never. That is, the idiots who figured out the new supposedly high-tech way of transferring signals didn't realize that the new high-tech installs could not possibly use a technology that didn't just happily flow thirty or forty feet. "some crap" is the right term. HDMI was designed to work in only the crappier, limited installs!

I just shot 1080p 3d over an Ethereal Balun 90 feet to a Sony Led from a Dtr50.3. No problems...
At my house i am using a dtr7.9 over a cheap capital 50ft hdmi with no problem either.

I was told by Integra the other day that none of their .3 receivers or preamps are compatible with HD baseT HDMI extenders. They used to be our brand of choice, but I think we will be looking else were now.

Believe me I was in denial about it for a long time. It's not the other sources or cables. It's the AVR's themselves. I'm a creature of habit, when I find something that works, I don't stray away to check out the new kid on the block. Stability is my bread and butter. Onkyo was the only AVR we used . Period end of story. I can walk you through the menu by memory. The point is, this isn't a new AVR that I'm struggling to figure out how it works. These were my go to receivers. In 100% of the cases, we've replaced the units with numerous Denon models. 100% of the time the issue was resolved. Unfortunately, I don't know Denon Meus like the back of my hand, so here I am, an old dog learning new tricks. I only beat this point home, so that nobody on the forum looses as much money as I have on defective AVRs.

I put in an Integra 30.3 in the house for a week or so. I was getting very glitchy results with the unit and a Comcast DCX3400. Audio would cut in and out and I could not keep an SD image stretched (Comcast has a horrible HD lineup so SD is normal). But no issues with an Apple TV via HDMI. I am using a 3M HDMI cable for what it is worth. My normal receiver is a Denon 2807, and have had zero issues with the cable box.
The company I am working with does not seem to have any major issues with Integra though. And Integra is the receiver of choice. I still prefer Denon, I have used them since the 90's so I am biased....
