Airplay issues on Denon AVR 3312

We are having issues with Airplay connection to 2 different Denon Avr3312's being consistantly inconsistant on them dicovering each other. (ipad and an iPhone. ) Connection to Apple TV or airport express is great, Denon however doesnt want to sometimes.......anyone with same problem? solution?

Its a bug in the ipad/iphone, either restart the phone/itouch/ipad, or kill off all the audio apps (double tap, then hold the app icon you want to kill, hit the -)

On ipad sometimes double tapping and scrolling over you will see the airplay icon and not necessarily in the app itself.

I run across this all the time even with appletvs' the denons set to dynamic or static ip? more than one on the network?

Lastly are all the devices on the same hub/switch? IE if you have a router and a switch I try to keep everything on the same switch and only one uplink connection to the router, you might be surprised at how often quirky things are fixed by just that

yea i have it too. no problem with two apple tv;s and one airport express om the same network only the denon 2212
email tech support they say it is a problem with my home network. nonsense the Denon is the problem

You aren't giving us the full picture. What other equipment do you have?

I had a very similar situation, but I didn't call tech support, because instead of assuming that the problem was with the quality Denon, I replaced the cheap modem/router first. Problem solved.
