Just opened up a 2008 bottle of Saxum Broken Stones which is a blend from Paso Robles about 2hrs North of here.  Have some steaks going on the grill too!

We should start a beer club or trading thread. I know I'd be willing to ship some of Californias finest for a little east coast love. I'm a big fan of the Dundee Honey Brown you guys get back there. The closest thing we have here is a very smooth Honey Blonde from a local brewery (Firestone) but its not available in a bottle. Seasonal item on tap only.

I used to love Old Vienna back in the day and wouldn't mind a refresher in that coarse as well.

I think we have some great beers in California but anyone who hasn't sampled the selection coming out of the north east really needs to. You guys have some excellent choices.

Honey brown, one of my favorites..havent had in a while though...picked up a 5 liter mini keg of newcastle brown ale tonight...ive never had it and it was an impulse buy to bring to a friends house tomorrow....maybe ill bring some honey brown too. :)

I dipped my toe into the Girlie drink pool last night with a Bananas Foster Martini and holy sh!t, now I see why you guys were drinkin' them! It was like a shake with alcohol, could lead to very bad things

Picked up some new microbrews to try. I'll be working on that this week while apparently cleaning the grout on my kitchen tile.

A Viognier with Thai tonight.

That Rogue chocolate stout is a good one.

It's not green beer but it is a green bottle, that ought to be close enough.

Cheers to a wonderful weekend, and Happy St.Patty's day!

Ah, yes, a day to celebrate excessive consumption.

I raise a glass to everyone looking for an excuse.

It will be a Harpoon Octoberfest.
