Hello to all in A/V land, if you need a file with all the discrete codes for the Samsung DLP's, post your email and I will send you the Word file. They have worked for me and you can save them rather than having to search the forum every time. Anyway, have a wired day.

Am I correct that these will only work w/the Samsung DLP's that have had the firmware upgrade Samsung was offering last year? I have a client w/an older Samsung DLP w/out discretes for inputs, am really trying to find a solution for him.

That is correct. If the firmware is version 213 or lower the TV itself does not support discrete input switching. All of sets shipped in the last 6-8 months SHOULD have discrete power/input. Also the DLP codes have been posted as a .ccf and a .mxf for quite a while and are readily available in the files area.

Guys, I just noticed last night that they seem to be in the new rti library..Whether you like their remotes or not the file is huge and has alot of codes I had not seen with their previos "sample" file..I have not tried these yet (cause I can't keep a bloody remote in stock ) Every time I get one for the store I have to replace a bad remote in the field..RTI now says 2nd quarter on the release of the new ones..I will try them from Sonance since they say they will be doing the Q.C.....

Hello,
I am in need of these codes in .irl format for AMX.
Is any one capable of doing that conversion?
Thanks,
Bill.

I have a client with a 50" DLP that was purchased January 2003 (that is 15 months old). The discrete codes for source select I found on the site do not work. Is there any hope? Can the TV software be upgraded to accept discrete source select codes?
