Garbage Yet again, another broken replay tv. This is now going to be the second replay tv for the same customers i am replace. Now he calls me up saying "I called replay, they said it’s a bad tuner." First the dam thing wouldn't connect now finally it does and 3 weeks later it has a bad tuner!
Has anyone else not had such luck with these systems??

I've been recommending ReplayTV for sometime now and I have very few complaints (I won't say none, however). I think its a much better system then Tivo, especially in our industry.

I have installed only a few Replays but of those few I have experienced problems. My most common problem is the damn phone connection. I have had the modems steal the line and not let go, also the upload seems very slow. I am a Tivo guy I guess. I've also had the tuner issue.

Never had any Tuner issue, Just some lock ups when new. I have a 4500 series with a network connection. Video is marginal to poor quality on my HDTV. I use the DVR10 on most digital content, like CSI.
I may be schizophrenic, but at least I have each other.

I have had the dial up and download problem. And i have to say i have never had a problem with any Tivo.
And there is a less of a delay between changing chanlles on the tivo then on the replay.

I might have agreed with that a year ago when it could take 3 hours to set a TiVo up with its dial-up problems. But, I haven't run into any TiVo issues in over a year, but still hear about Replay issues.
