Sorry I have not replied to the responses on this thread I was away for the weekend... Anyway, does anyone have the "ViA learner" that they can part with? If so please drop me an email. Or if you want to part with it for a few days I’ll pay an applicable fee. Thanks, Lonny

right on about throckmorton he'll sell anyone anything, however i have seen via learners on ebay the crazy thing is they were going for seven bills.
Once you have one though the programming is really easy, anyone who can do a pronto (espcially if they are used to using links/alias for macros) can program zpads. If he has six pieces of equipment and you are prgramming the z 200 or 250 for the first time i would say you are in for about two hours of prgramming, then you just dump it into all the keypads (additional twenty minutes). The next time you program a 200 or 250 it will take bout ten minutes.

Jputtcamp, thanks for your input. Just one question the extent of the programming, should I charge out like the pronto? Is there an industry standard? I am on the verge of dealing with Elan direct, so getting the VIa is not a problem the said. I think it’s a good investment which will help lead my company into a new field as we have never dealt with key pads.
