Any opinions on i/r range extenders. I have read about the hot link pro and the terk leapfrog range extenders. Curious if anyone has any opinions here. I just purchased the mx-500 that works great except for some reason my Denon receiver has to have the remote pointed right at it to do anything. With all of my other components I can just point it whereever and they work. Thanks

Audioplex makes a nifty little gadjet called the IR Prism. It sticks right on the front of the component's IR window and increases off axis sensitivity.

It might be a cheap & easy fix for the Denon.
