I have a Go Video HDTV TW1730 17" LCD TV that I bought at Costco. I think that it is made by LG but am not sure. Is there a discreet on and off command? Gateway was not helpful and LG told me to call Gateway.

And if you ever get an actual tech from either place, they'll tell you to look here. I've gotten that from techs at LG, Samsung & Fujitsu. It's as if the engineers that write the control code treat discretes like easter eggs in a Nintendo game.
