I am using a intellicontrol and I have a Maxx Maverick Projector that requires you to hit the off command 2 times to turn the projector off. This is no problem I just put an additional off command in the ending sequence of the off button and use a light sensor to sync the projector. BUT in this case I have a customer that wants to use the media room systems reciever and DVD to feed audio to the pool room and workout room. If I create another master key for CD and tell it to leave TV alone it will do what it is supposed to and not turn on the projector, until you hit the system off key and it runs the ending sequence for the off button. Any help on ways that I can learn IR for this to send 2 off commands and I would have a descreate off command.
Thanks for your help!!

In the Intellifile software, when you learn a code into the library, you can tell it how many times to repeat the sequence. Try varying the number of repeats in order to get your discrete off code.

Why not use separate keys for Main room and Second zone OFF sequences...... Would a situation never come up that the client may want to turn off the second zone while the main zone is still in use???
Other option would be to use RS-232 control for the Projector...... Xantech makes a handy little box for this(IR-RS232a) since the intellicontrol isnt intelligent enough to do RS-232....
You could also use a Xantech macro-izer to create your double pulse code out of a Single IR code... This would allow you to actually use the light sensor.
