Hi everyone,

I just purchased a Niles Intellicontrol table top remote which I've been wanting for a long time, but I need to get it programmed. Is it possible to program intellicontrol with the Intellifile II software?

Thanks

You will need the Intellifile II software to program the Intellicontrol, but you will also need the PC interface.
Where are you at?

The last company I worked for wanted a Intellifile II interface and Niles insisted they become a dealer first. Maybe someone local to you can sell or rent one to you.

Usually you have to be a dealer to buy that product. It requires a competent programmer and additional equipment.

yup,

you need to be a certified programmer to get your hands on the Intellifile 2 interface. You have to prove your a dealer with certain volume, in a certain area, then take a test proctored and graded by niles.

You can POSSIBLY find one on e-bay, but the funny thing is, the couple I've seen there, illegitemately, have cost the final bidder an average of $100.00 MORE than a new one will cost an authorized dealer.

My suggestion would be to call niles, find out who your local programmer is, and hopefully pay him a couple hundred bucks to get it up and running for you, or help you do it!

good luck!

there may also be no guarantee that an ebay intellifile is intellicontrol-ready. it may only have intellipad chipsets.
