Have any of you professional integrators participated in a Parade of Homes builders show before? If so, was it successfull?
We are considering doing it, but it is a large investement and we are unsure if it will pay off.
Thanks.

The last one we did was very successfull. I think the builder should have some investment though. We gave the builder model home pricing where it was available to us, but the builder still had a substantial investment. I can attribute 2 major projects, about 15-20 small and medium jobs and the addition of a couple of builders to the Parade project. Good Luck!

We do parade shows every year. We have homes with systems from anywhere in the neighborhood of $3500 to $35,000. Typically we have always had a good return on the investment. We give the builders dealer discounts where available. We require them to purchase all of the "permanently installed" equipment such as projector screens & In-wall speakers. Everything else we usually supply such as receivers, DVD, TIVO, whatever. They also have to agree to let us use the house for 12 months regardless of whether its sold or not.
