For a while I've noticed that Niles Tech Support has a pronto .ccf file for use with an intellicontrol. I've imported it (as a .pcf) into a TSU-3000 and wired a tabletop IR sensor into the Home Theater IR" input. The sensor would flash alternating green and red when it received the codes from the pronto. OEM remotes worked fine and passed right through. Did I miss something? Should I try it with a P2 or P6 instead?

Did you check to make sure your IC is set for the same code set as that posted on Niles site? This is changed in the Intellicontrol software and the dip switch inside the IC remote.

as far as i can tell the dip switches only apply to the intellicontrol's tabletop remote. i don't see how it would apply to the pronto. the iControl's reference manual didn't mention dip switches in that section.

But is there some default setting that perhaps matches the signals in the pcf, and someone just forgot to document that?

As was suggested, try the dip switches.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

i'll try that next time i'm at the customer's. i checked my program and they're all set to 0000 as opposed to the default 1111 as a result of troubleshooting RF reception. thanks for the advice.
