I'm in a situation where I might have to put my audio rack right next to an airhandler with an AC electric motor. The rack will inlcude a multichannel amp, possibly 2. It will also include a 8x8 audio switch & all source equipment.
Can I sheild it somehow. I could have the builder put a 2x4 wall between the rack and ahirhandler. Would that be enough?

A 2x4/drywall wall will do nothing to reduce electrical interference, but in my opinion, dust created by the air flow might be a bigger concern. Make sure the equipment is not in a position that will cause return air to flow through it. Larry www.fineelectricco.com
