HI guys,
Any leads on Philips DS1000/2000's with BATTERIES?
Most suppliers are dropping them, it seems.

Are we going to have to order them from Philips as parts.

Forgive me if I missed a previous thread on this.

Since Philips does not make the 1000 or 2000 any more and the 2000 production was stopped over a year ago, I would think they are being dropped because they are not manufactured any more.

So now I need to sell all my customers a 3000, just to offer them a rechargeable option?

Has anyone found a good alternative in standard rechargeable AA's?

Thanks for the reply Anthony.

I have No Idea why that would be a Problem whatsoever...... If you are still selling TSU1000/2000's then you are doing your customers a diservice at this point. They are LONG discontinued now.

you could tell them use regular batteries, also there was a thread in the pronto forum from someone that replaced the batteries in the pack with regular rechargeable.

There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.

Thanks, Tom.
NO I would never sell another 1000/2000, but I have plenty of customers who already own them, and for some reason want rechargeable batt's.

I think we may be out of luck Jim, I have an old 2000, I'll check out some standard rechargables.
