Hey all,

anyone have information about WHO's producing the monitors that come with this package?

[Link: dishnetwork.com]

have had several friends/family ask in recent weeks!

Dude, they are RCA monitors. My understanding is that their DVI hookups only work with the Dish Network 811 and 921 HD receivers. It's not a bad deal for someone getting into HD for cheap. E-mail me if you need more info.

Greg,

Thanks,

I guess my dad just talked to someone from Dish about them, and that person confirmed they are RCA products...so the next question would be...

how do they look? anyone got experience with the dish pacakage OR the retail versions of said monitors?

I am fairly new to this site so my question may seem strange. What is the problem with these Bose knuckle heads? I have seen at least 10 threads that they jump into and make meaningless comments that show their obvious immaturity and lack of knowledge.

Just a thought...

Miami man,

Thon and Avdude know each other "rather well" (I'll let them elaborate)... I'm sure you are seeing an inside joke here... Thon is definitely not a Bosehead... not like the "I LOVE BOSE" guy who is obviously brainwashed.

In that case I am sorry Thon. I stand corrected, I am the knuckle head. Next time I'll keep my two cents in my pocket.

who made a bose shot? not thon? no WAY! he he he...if you're going so stir crazy down there...why don't you get your ass bak here and help me on the frozen wire front?

enjoy the rest of your vacation...cause it's COLD here this morning (16 degrees, and the wind is blowing about 30 miles per hour...so wind chill is like 5 below!) oh...and there's snow on the ground!

avdude,

Good luck with the frozen wires. I worked avionics in North Dakota for some time. I will take the warm wires in Florida any time. But I am "chilling" in Pennsylvania right now.

WTF was that egg the Denver Bronco's laid today? God if it weren't for the amazing last second loss by the Vikes and the Cowpies dropping one to the Saints, my Seahawk rooting days would have to wait till next year.

Unfortunately, love em or not, it'll be a cold day in hell (or Green Bay... one in the same?) before the Hawks win that one next week. I'll keep my fingers crossed but if that was the best the Broncs could do against them... we're screwed. If by some divine guidance our teams should meet in February... Let's Party! Enjoying the frozen land? I actually had a White Chrismas... got drunk and sang some Bing Crosby on my back deck while the little ones pelted each other (and me) with slushy Washington snowballs...of course I went back to work the next day and prewired in the leftover slush, 37 degree rain, mud, etc. Saw an ad for this Tiki-Hut hotel over the water in Bora Bora... sure looked freakin nice.

Anyone looking for a quarter million dollar theatre job with a 10% design fee down so I can go away for a week?... I promise to work on your design between dives!
